
LAURYN WITHNELL

Lauryn is a New York based actor, singer and dancer, currently in the 1st Broadway national tour of Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical. Born in Toronto into a musical family, she made her singing debut at age six in her family band! Years of competitive dance, show choir, jazz vocal ensemble, gigs and shows led her to the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre with an additional dance emphasis. She has had the privilege of working with Tony Award-winning director Jerry Zaks, Academy Awards director Otis Sallid, and celebrity & film choreographer Jessica Castro. Recent credits include Cabaret, West Side Story, Matilda, and Pippin. Other performance highlights include playing Cassie, Marilyn Monroe, Carole King, various Disney princesses, dancing for Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott, singing with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and performing as Artist on Board on Via Rail across Canada. She also enjoys teaching master classes, choreographing, and leading theatre workshops, inspiring the next generation of performers. She is passionate about connecting with people on a personal level, strengthening her artistic abilities, and soaking up every experience that comes her way.
